Caring for your candles:

Time for a trim.

Maybe just a little off the top?

All candles should be trimmed before they are lit. The wick should be at 1/4 inch before use. Long wicks can cause large flames and can be dangerous.

Burn baby burn.

Ready to commit?

Upon lighting your candle for the first time, it needs to burn for at least a minimum of 2 hours. This allows the wick to burn properly for the life of the candle.

I get lonely.

Leaving so soon?

Unattended candles are dangerous. Before leaving the house, even if you will be right back or before going to bed, blow out the candle.

Chill out.

Is it break time yet?

Your candle should be enjoyed but it does need a rest period. Candles should only be burned for a max time of four hours. Once the candle has had a chance to cool and completely solidify, it is safe to relight the candle. It is typically best to let the candle rest overnight.

Room to breathe.

Can I get a little space?

Be sure to give your candle plenty of breathing room. Do not set your candle on or near paper or other flammable materials. Keep away from walls, furniture and drafts.

It’s time to say goodbye.

Time to go already?

When your candle gets down to only 1/4 inch of wax, it is time to toss it and start over new. Burning a candle all the way out of wax can cause a fire. Please discard your candle when wax is low.

Make it melt!

When you are ready to change your wax, turn on your warmer and let the wax melt. When melted, add a cotton ball to the wax. Once the wax is absorbed, toss the cotton ball. Wet a new cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and wipe the tray clean. When dry, add your new scent and enjoy.
